Just the location.
Only WiFi in the reception area, only Spanish TV-channels available, not even cnn, bbc World or any other free international tv channels, no flat screen tv. Unbelievable! Hardly any personnel at all and noone speaks English.Almost impossible to get the room cleaned. The restaurant was closed.

During my recent business trip to Melilla, my director chose the Affiliated By Melia hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel offers a range of luxurious amenities that helped me relax and unwind after a long day of meetings. The spa facilities were top-notch, and I indulged in rejuvenating treatments using their natural products. Afterward, I enjoyed the serene ambiance of the sauna and the refreshing ionized pool. These facilities truly provided a blissful experience, allowing me to recharge and tackle the demands of my business trip with renewed energy.
The only minor issue I encountered during my stay at the Affiliated By Melia hotel was that the location shown in Google maps was wrong.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location near the seafront was perfect for us and provided a stunning view of the sea. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us. They even helped us track down our lost baggage when it was delayed by the airlines. The service from the room service, housekeeping, and laundry departments was impeccable. We were impressed with the range of amenities provided in the rooms, including ironing facilities, a mini-bar, and a sitting area. Free Wi-Fi in the rooms was also a great bonus. The buffet breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious options, and the restaurant and bar/lounge area provided a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The location by the port was excellent. The rooms & amenities were great.
I was shocked that being so close to Morrocco they did not accept dirhams. There are no restaurants close to the hotel and the hotel bar closed at 11 so we had no place to buy food or bottled waterafter arriving late. The mini bar was not well stocked.

Helpful and friendly staff. Large room with (partial) ocean view.
The bed was uncomfortable. The furniture in general needs some renovation.

central, the style is a little funny, slick and stylish lobby, super old school Bar/Breakfast facilities and the rooms are somewhere in between, some new parts, some really old parts. So I would say it's on a good way, but still some meters to go. Anyways, I would recommend it, when you want to go to Mellila anyways.

Great location near the seafront and town. Lovely staff, despite limited English. Good buffet with plenty of options. Spacious rooms with fridge, but no kettle. Weak air conditioning and wifi when hotel is busy.

Great location by the harbor and close to the main tourist attraction. Our room was spacious and had a fridge and a flat screen TV. The breakfast had a good variety of food to choose from.
The air conditioning wasn't working properly and the room was hot. The staff didn't seem to care much about our discomfort.

This hotel was great! I loved how close it was to the beach and seafront. The staff were amazing and the breakfast was delicious. The facilities were top-notch, too.
It was all superb.

Great value for money and Friendly staff. I recently had the pleasure of staying in a hotel in Melilla for a business trip. the central location made it very easy to travel to my meetings and do some sightseeing. the hotel had a great gym and a small business center, which came in handy during my stay. the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh fruit and pastries, enjoyed with a cup of good coffee.
Must improve room's cleanliness. Despite the convenient location, I have to say that the cleaning of the rooms could have been better.
